Arrive Tbilisi
Transfer to the old town. Evening walk through the wooden-balconied lanes and a wine bar for a first taste of saperavi.

Tbilisi
The Metekhi church, the Narikala fortress by cable car, the Abanotubani bathhouse district and the Bridge of Peace, plus the Dry Bridge flea market. Optional sulphur-bath soak.

Mtskheta and Kazbegi
The ancient capital of Mtskheta — Jvari Monastery on its hill and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral — then north up the Military Highway past the Ananuri fortress and the Russia–Georgia Friendship Monument to Stepantsminda (Kazbegi). A 4x4 or short walk up to the Gergeti Trinity Church at 2,170 m. Overnight in Kazbegi.

Kazbegi → Tbilisi
A morning walk in the Gergeti / Gveleti waterfall area, then the drive back to Tbilisi with stops for the views.

Kakheti wine day
East to the wine country — Sighnaghi, the walled 'city of love' on its ridge, the Bodbe Monastery, and a family marani (cellar) for a qvevri tasting and a supra lunch.

Transfer to Tbilisi airport.
