Arrive Colombo → Sigiriya
Meet your chauffeur-guide and drive to the Cultural Triangle. Evening at leisure at your Sigiriya hotel.

Sigiriya & Polonnaruwa
Climb Sigiriya rock early to beat the heat, then the Dambulla cave temples and the ruins of ancient Polonnaruwa by bicycle.

Sigiriya → Kandy
Spice garden and a Matale Hindu temple en route. In Kandy, the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and a Kandyan dance show.

Kandy → Nuwara Eliya
Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, then a tea estate and factory tour on the climb into the hills. Overnight in 'Little England'.

The blue train → Ella
Ride the celebrated hill-country train from Nanu Oya to Ella through tea slopes and tunnels. Afternoon walk to Little Adam's Peak.

Ella → Yala
Nine Arches Bridge and Ravana Falls, then descend to Yala. Optional evening safari.

Yala → South coast
Early game drive in Yala for leopard, elephant and sloth bear, then transfer to a beach hotel near Tangalle or Weligama.

Galle & the coast
Explore the Dutch ramparts and boutiques of Galle Fort; stilt fishermen at Koggala; free afternoon on the beach. (Seasonal: whale watching from Mirissa.)

Depart
Coastal expressway transfer to Colombo airport (approx. 2 – 2.5 hrs).
