Transfer to a design hotel in the city. Evening at a quiet counter restaurant, booked ahead.

A late start, the Nezu Museum garden and the backstreets of Yanaka, then cocktails on a high floor at sunset.

Tokyo → Hakone / Kawaguchiko
Train to the lakes. Check in to a ryokan with a private open-air onsen and a Mount Fuji view; kaiseki dinner in your room.

A slow morning with the mountain, a lake cruise and the Chureito Pagoda viewpoint, then a second night at the ryokan.
