Arrive Tokyo
Transfer to your hotel; rail pass and wifi handover. If the trees are open, an evening yozakura walk along a lantern-lit canal.

Tokyo hanami
Ueno Park and Chidorigafuchi moat by day; Senso-ji and Asakusa; a picnic under the trees with bento and sake.

Tokyo → Kawaguchiko
Train to the Fuji lakes for the Chureito Pagoda's classic Fuji-and-blossom view and a lake cruise. Return to Tokyo, or overnight by the lake.

Tokyo → Kyoto
Shinkansen to Kyoto. Afternoon along the blossom-lined Philosopher's Path to Ginkaku-ji.

Kyoto
Kiyomizu-dera and Maruyama Park, Kyoto's most famous hanami spot, then Gion. Evening blossom illuminations at a temple garden.

Kyoto — west
Arashiyama's bamboo grove and the blossom along the Katsura river, the Sagano scenic railway, and Kinkaku-ji.

Nara day trip
Todai-ji, the deer and the blossom of Nara Park, returning to Kyoto for a farewell dinner.
